On the 18.11.2022 Oxus held a conference under the name of “War is war, human is human” in Vienna. The aim of conference was to discuss the unequal treatment of refugees in Austria and to find serious solutions to remove this phenomenon.

The panellists were members of the Austrian parliament, civil society and Austrian media.

MPs of the Parliament promised that they will try to turn this acute problem into a serious debate in the Austrian Parliament and find a reasonable solution.

The phenomenon of unequal treatment of asylum seekers in Austrian society is increasing recently, especially after the flood of Ukrainian immigrants has reached its peak.

This one-day conference was held in cooperation with the European Council for Refugees and Exiles (ECRE).
